I love the recipe analogy as it encourages you to:
* Create a nearly infinite list of ingredients,
* Combine the ingredients in a variety of combinations that make your recipe unique, and
* Cook it all up and serve it to your guests (which is all about execution).
Oh, and don't forget to listen to your "guests," you may just get a tip.
Don't forget "Revenue Model" - even though a revenue model is just part of your business plan (there's another Synonym for business model - "Business Plan"), the revenue model has been THE most overlooked portion every single business plan I have reviewed over the years (well over 200). It is the CORE of your business model and should be scalable. If your business model is only time for money, your business model is incomplete! Become the hub of your industry and find a way to turn competitors into customers! That is a REAL revenue model... are REAL business model... Just ask Jim!
